Saint-Antoine Pont d’Arratz, stopover on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostelle
This village, at the entrance of the Gers department, is a stop-off point on the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela.
The old and impressive commandery is the evidence of the presence of the Antonines who have resided in the village for more than 600 years. The ancient city gate leads to the heart of the medieval town and to the church with its four-lobed Romanesque portal: a pure marvel!
