GUIDED TOURS AND ACTIVITIES
EDF, France’s leading electricity producer and supplier, invites you to discover electricity and nuclear power. How is electricity produced? How does a nuclear power plant work?
The Espace Découverte is accessible to everyone on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and during school holidays (zone C) from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
During school holidays, the EDF Golfech sites also offers different activities and an escape game to french-speaking groups and children.
Installation visits are reserved for groups in a professional, associative or school setting by reservation.

Conservatoire des métiers d’autrefois
A journey through time, a collection of 20,000 objects retracing daily life in the 19th and early 20th centuries.
From June 5th to September 29th, 2024, the Conservatory invites you to discover “Zola photographer”: an exhibition of around thirty photographs taken by the writer during the last years of his life. And numerous workshops are offered throughout the summer (cyanotype, basketry, old games, sketches, etc.).

Visiting THE CONSERVATORY WHILE HAVING FUN
Several courses are offered to suit all ages :
- 6/11 years old: a day of adventure with Rosalie, the little mouse.
- From 12 years old: murder party “Murder at the conservatory”.
- From 6 years old: Nutcracker, the music-loving squirrel: outdoors. A life-size goose game in the shade of the plane mulberry trees.
- Hunt for objects in the orchard-conservatory. A bucolic outdoor break. Depending on the season, you can pick cherries, plums, figs and other fruits from our orchard. All ages.
These activities are included in the entrance fee.
A refreshment area is opened in June from 2 pm to 6 pm and in July & August from 10 am to 6 pm.

July and August : on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Lac du golf Espalais.
Activity
Throughout the summer, the Communauté de Communes des Deux Rives offers canoeing activities in a bucolic setting, at the Espalais golf lake with a qualified instructor.
For whom ?
Older than 8 years old, and for everybody knowing how to swim.
Price
The price is 5€/person for a 1h30 session. Children under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. You can subscribe at least 24 hours before the session by stopping by or calling Auvillar Tourist Information Center (+335 63 39 89 82). 8 people maximum. Equipment provided.
Do not forget
A swimwear, a cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, bath towel and shoes to prevent injuries.
Navigation equipment (paddles) and safety effects (life jackets) are provided by the entertainment team.

Discovery
To catch your first fish as a family. At the end of the animation, the fish will be released. Everything is included (materials, consumables, etc.).
From 6 years old. From 10am to noon.

Little scientist
To search macro-invertebrates (small creatures that inhabit the banks and aquatic environments). They are collected using nets and jars, before being identified. You may have your feet in the water, do not forget your spare boots or other shoes.
