Discover the history of inland waterway transport on the Garonne and the magnificent Auvillar earthenware

The Museum of Vieil Auvillar is renowned for its heritage in the art of earthenware. Since 1739, Auvillar has been home to 20 thriving earthenware factories, while its port was a thriving centre of activity for the barge industry. Today, thanks to the Musée du Vieil Auvillar, you can explore over 400 pieces of authentic Auvillar earthenware, as well as delving into the fascinating history of river navigation on the Garonne.

Opening days:

– from April 15th to October 15th, every day from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (except Tuesday).
– from October 16th to April 14th, weekends only from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Entrance fee: €3/person (free for children up to 12 years old).
